Kids at Hope Ted Talk
In his TEDx talk, Rick Miller challenges the long-standing practice of labeling children as “at risk.” Instead, he introduces the Kids at Hope framework, built on a powerful belief: all children are capable of success—no exceptions. Miller explains that outcomes improve when adults shift from focusing on deficits to cultivating belief, connection, and future vision. When children are surrounded by adults who believe in them, build meaningful relationships, and help them imagine positive futures, hope becomes actionable—and success becomes attainable.
